Kenny Anderson walking to support AIDS Walk Atlanta, the largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser in the southeast.
Since 1988, Kenneth Anderson has been a committed advocate for HIV/AIDS education through increasing awareness, encouraging voluntary testing, and research initiatives that may one day lead to a cure for this disease. Having lost his younger sister to the disease very early in the epidemic, he has worked diligently with community-based agencies, schools, health care agencies, and individuals on numerous projects to heighten sensitivity and awareness about the facts of HIV/AIDS. From serving on local boards to chairing a community group that brought panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt to Huntsville, Alabama in 1991, Kenneth is passionate about raising funds to support on-going efforts to address the complex issues caused by HIV/AIDS.
